Dr. Perry is a native of the Monterey Peninsula and attended Monterey High School where he excelled as a student-athlete in both track and football. This is when he was first introduced to the chiropractic profession while sustaining multiple athletic injuries. While under chiropractic care, he developed a fascination for the complexities of the human body and the ability to respond positively through natural healing methods.
Dr. Perry has been in practice for over 15 years and has an extensive sports injury-based philosophy. In addition to utilizing various chiropractic techniques, he is certified in Graston Technique, which is a specific instrument-assisted soft tissue technique used to effectively treat scar tissue that is laid down after injury to muscle, tendon, ligament, and fascia. He is also a sports performance coach and specializes in functional training and rehabilitation as well as speed, plyometrics, and sport-specific movement.
He completed his undergraduate work at Sacramento State University with a major in Kinesiology and a concentration in physical therapy He is a graduate of Life Chiropractic College West where he underwent an intensive four-year academic program and clinical internship earning Suma Cum Laude honors.
