Lifelong educator and healthcare professional, Jan has been honored by the Indiana Athletic Trainers Association with several awards for service and outstanding practice, including the 2020 induction into the Hall of Fame. She has also been honored by the Board of Certification (Athletic Training) with the Dan Libera Service Award, Danville Area Community College- Outstanding Adjunct Professor, and Ivy Tech Community College- Outstanding Adjunct Award and Lamkin Award. She has lead and been an active member of the Medical Team for 18 national championships for the NCAA, USA Swimming, USA Diving, USA Gymnastics, and USA Track and Field, as well as the 1996 Atlanta Olympic Games.
Living in the MidWest for most of her life, she calls Indiana her home and is a proud Hoosier. She lives with her family in Anderson, IN, and continues to teach in higher education at Butler University and Ivy Tech Community College. She practices as an AT in Northern Hamilton Country, daily providing Graston services to the athletes in her care.
