Bob has served as the Director of MS in Athletic Training (MSAT) at the University of Wisconsin – Eau Claire since 2006 and is a member of the faculty for the Department of Kinesiology. He teaches a variety of classes within the MSAT, involving evaluation/assessment techniques, soft tissue manipulation, therapeutic modalities, anatomy, and applied nutrition. Bob has a strong research interest in the use of manual therapy as part of the rehabilitation process and Femoroacetabular Impingement (FAI). He is active with the Wisconsin Athletic Trainers Association, USOPC Sports Medicine, and various hockey associations. He completed his education at Indiana University (MS in Kinesiology (athletic training); and Bowling Green State University (PhD in higher education administration with an emphasis in digital technology). Dr. Stow also has various certification and licensure as an athletic trainer, Certified Strength and Conditioning Specialist (CSCS), Graston Technique, Functional Movement, and Sport Manual Therapy (SMTC).
