Trevor Roberts

Trevor Roberts graduated from Western University of Health Sciences in 2002 with a Master’s degree in Physical Therapy. He has spent most of his career in an outpatient setting, but has also worked in inpatient and skilled nursing environments. He currently is a Physical Therapist at an outpatient orthopedic clinic with Sutter Physical Therapy. He also provides physical therapy services with GRIP Physiotherapy as a clinician, and an instructor in athletic injury prevention and performance. As a physical therapist with more that 20 years of experience, Trevor is skilled in the treatment of musculoskeletal dysfunction, and enjoys working with athletic injuries, as well industrial injuries, chronic pain, and postural dysfunction. As a runner, he is passionate about preventing injury as well as restoring function as quickly as possible after injury. In 2015, He volunteered in a charity running event called Run It Forward, that provided service for children in promoting equal education and healthcare access for underserved communities. He was a clinician for the other runners in the event, as well as one of the running crew that ran daily from Orlando to the Mexico border. Trevor takes pride in providing quality education in the clinic, in the community, and in the profession. In the clinical setting, he has trained physical therapy students, as well as worked as a teaching partner for the Dignity Family Practice Residency Program where he educated and trained physicians during their orthopedic rotation. In the community, he works with youth sports clubs and high school athletic departments providing athlete assessment and team education on injury prevention. He also has provided lectures on Back Safety and Ergonomics for businesses including UPS and the Yolo County Health Department. In the profession, Trevor enjoys training clinicians on the use of Graston Technique, and has been a GT instructor since 2010.
