William Charschan

Preferred Provider

Dr. William Charschan established the center in 1988 and has helped hundreds of people with problems such as sciatica, back pain, neck pain, headaches, sports injuries, carpal tunnel syndrome and many other acute and chronic conditions. He is an Internationally Certified Chiropractic Sports Physician and is the medical director for USA Track and Field New Jersey since 1991. He has been a physician at many national events such as National Aerobics Championships, Pro Bowlers Tour, Ultimate Frisbee, Fencing, Tae Quon Doe, Soccer tournaments and the Garden State Games.

Dr. Charschan is an accomplished practitioner of Myofascial Release Technique which improves treatment results and decreases treatment time significantly. It also helps many who have never been helped by chiropractic before. He has worked with Johnson and Johnson in New Brunswick in the treatment of their carpal tunnel/ cumulative trauma cases, saving them money and resolving many cases quickly.

In 2004, Dr. Charschan added Graston Technique (see grastontechnique.com for more detailed information) which utilizes specially designed anatomically shaped tools to treat an area. This has resulted in many more cases having favorable results in less time. The tools are especially helpful when the doctor’s fingers cannot reach an area for adequate treatment, but the tools can. Dr. Charschan believes the best doctors of chiropractic go for continuing education and try to stay on the cutting edge of what is happening in the care of musculoskeletal conditions.

We are able to accommodate most new patients within 24-48 hours for a first visit, something most people will appreciate. We also customize the care to your unique needs since different people have varying body styles, family histories, and personal histories.
