GTS Certification

GTS Certification Eligibility

To be considered eligible for the GTS credential exam, participants must first successfully complete both Essential Training and Advanced Training*, and own or have access (through their employer) to Graston instruments. The clinician must then successfully pass the GTS credential exam**.

 

Procedure

To purchase the GTS credential exam ($99), log in and go to your profile. Once logged in, scroll down to the “GT MASTERY LEVEL” section. If you are eligible for the GTS credential exam it will be displayed along with the other online course offerings. The GTS credential must be renewed every 2 years from the date of credentialing. Renewal requires the successful completion of the Advanced Updates & Revisions online course ($59), and the GTS Credential exam.

 

GTS Certification Examination

The GTS credential exam will be conducted online via the Graston Technique Online Learning Portal. 20 questions will be randomly selected from a pool of 40 questions related to Graston Technique therapy application and research. A score of 80% or higher is required to successfully pass the credential exam. The exam is untimed and participants will be limited to three attempts. An attempt will be counted every time the exam is started. Please make sure there is adequate time to complete the exam before starting as there is no resume feature.

* Must first complete 3-hr Essential online review course if Essential training date was prior to Jan 1, 2015 (the training fee associated with the Essential review course will be waived when purchased with an Advanced Training)

** Must first complete 3-hr Advanced online review course if Advanced training date was prior to Jan 1, 2017.

In 2017 Graston Technique, LLC administered the industry’s first IASTM specialist certification examination. Currently, Graston Technique, LLC has certified over 1,000 Graston Technique Specialist (GTS).
