Dr. Jason E. Bennett is a licensed physical therapist, a board-certified clinical specialist in sports physical therapy, and a certified athletic trainer. Dr. Bennett completed his PhD in Orthopaedic and Sports Science from Rocky Mountain University of Health Sciences. Dr. Bennett’s research has examined risk factors for exercise-related leg pain in high school and collegiate runners, the relationship between movement performance and occurrence of injury in collegiate athletes, and the use of quantitative ultrasound as a surrogate to DXA in identifying athletes at risk of bone stress injury. Dr. Bennett has experience in kinetic and kinematic analysis of movement using 3D motion capture and force plate data, has authored two home study courses on the ageing athlete and diagnostic imaging for sport related injuries, and authored a chapter on the use of surface EMG for muscle re-education. Dr. Bennett is currently an Associate Professor in the Doctor of Physical Therapy program at Carroll University in Waukesha, WI and has been a practicing physical therapist and athletic trainer for over 25 years.
